The opportunity
We are looking for a Manager within the Valuation, Modelling & Economics team in our Perth office. This role is offered on a flexible full time basis.
As part of this market leading team, your role will be primarily focused on valuation work. You will become a member of multiple client engagement teams and have the opportunity to get involved in the full range of valuation work including valuations for management planning; mergers & acquisitions; tax; financial reporting; independent expert work and shareholder disputes.
Working with a wide variety of clients and industries, you'll gain experience in understanding client issues and building client relationships. In our friendly, collaborative environment, you'll receive the support, formal learning and coaching you need to accelerate the career path you choose.
Your key responsibilities
  • Analyse financial and other information in relation to our clients
  • Manage a team of junior analysts
  • Liaise with clients regarding business performance, cash flow forecasts and prospects and understanding key valuation drivers
  • Use current technology and tools to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment

Skills and attributes for success
  • Strong excel, financial modelling, communication and report writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of different valuation methodologies
  • Demonstration of interpersonal and client relationship skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships
  • An ability to manage multiple commitments and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of the mining and energy sectors

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Achievement of, or progress towards, CA, CFA or an equivalent post graduate qualification would be advantageous
