Credit Research Associate

An opportunity to work with some of the worlds largest investment banks and asset management firms on in-depth credit analysis of issuers/counter-parties. Typical day to day activities on these roles include:

• Preparing financial models using financial statements, debt schedule, and financial forecast

• Conducting credit analysis using credit metrics (liquidity, coverage, solvency, etc.)

• Writing credit reviews, which would include the following: -Business Risk analysis including analysis of business model, market dynamics – competition, market position, management, strategy etc. -Financial Risk Analysis using credit models, and credit analysis (credit ratio analysis, covenant analysis, capital structure analysis) -Credit comparables -Synthesizing analysis into credit strengths and weaknesses

• Writing sector summaries

•  Extracting debt-related information, e.g., price, maturity, yield, z-spread, and CDS, from databases

Skill Set Required

•  Excellent understanding of credit research concepts

•  Experience in financial modeling and/or writing credit reports

•  Well-versed with databases such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ

•  Excellent communication skills

•  Experience in handling client calls and other client communication

•  Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables

•  Ability to work under pressure and manage strict deadlines   Education and experience

MBA(Finance)/CA with 3-6 years of experience in credit research.
