In this role you will manage the development and maintenance of the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) methodology to achieve optimization among the different risk and controls framework within the company.

Your role

As a Senior Risk & Control Frameworks Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Managing the Group-wide ICFR methodology
  • Being the main point of contact for the ICFR methodology, identify and document changes appropriately and ensure updates are syndicated with and approved by the relevant stakeholders
  • Presenting and communicating changes to the ICFR community and foster knowledge sharing amongst the different entities
  • Contributing to the convergence and streamlining of all existing risk and control frameworks in place at Zurich, leveraging the ICFR methodology
  • Driving the annual ICFR scoping and risk assessment processes


Your Skills and Experience

As a Senior Risk & Control Frameworks Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • A degree in business administration or related subject is required
  • At least 8 years of experience in the financial services industry in internal controls - in-house or as external consultant - is a pre-requisite
  • Professional qualifications and/or significant experience in accountancy, finance or audit as well as certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACA, or IIA, would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience with the rollout of a framework up and until the implementation in the business units would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of ZIG (Zurich Insurance Group) as a company, strategic objectives, key products and services, governance, policies and procedures would be helpful
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, work with diverse cultures collaboratively, manage stakeholder sensitivities
  • Persistent, resilient, agile and seeking self-development
  • Additional company languages (German, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese) would be a distinct advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
