Global Investment Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Apply financial, statistical, econometric, and machine learning analysis on financial and narrative datasets stored in MioTech platform
• Produce at least one high quality investment research paper or white paper per month
• Closely follow up with micro and macroeconomic news and trends; produce infographics on thematic topics using MioTech platform on a regular basis
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and data team to drive marketing, sales, and product initiatives
• Respond to regular and ad hoc data/analysis requests from external and internal clients
• Test and validate new datasets against client and investment community interests

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or above in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience in financial services / investment management; prior research experience in banking, PE, research organizations or academia is a plus
• Proficient in at least one of the following: SQL, Python, R
• CFA and/or CPA qualification is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding English writing skills
