Principal responsibilities will include:
  • Successfully manage sectors and securities portfolios with an emphasis on out-performing the relevant standard industry benchmarks via stock and sector selection in order to enhance the performance of the portfolios.
  • Actively monitor markets and conduct fundamental analysis on the Global stock markets to ensure that all equity investment decisions are based upon sound investment methodologies and within agreed levels of authority and investment policies.
  • To contribute to tactical asset allocation.
  • Monitor and inform Senior Management of any investment in their area of responsibility which may from time to time be placed for strategic reasons.
  • Represent the Organization effectively in dealings with external third parties and associated organisations.


Successful candidates will have:
  • A Bachelor's degree with an additional qualification in investment management: CFA, IIMR or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum 8 years' experience in 'long only' institutional fund management in the Global Equity market and can effectively demonstrate a good performance track record
  • A good understanding of modern portfolio theory and risk management techniques including quantitative techniques
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel/Technological abilities
