Your new duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

AIFM related duties:
  • Assist the AIFM in complying with compliance specifically AML obligations under the AIFM regulations
  • Support the identification and assessment of Compliance/AML risk
  • Analyze and implement all relevant legal and regulatory changes
  • Ensure compliance of the existing policies and procedures
  • Draft/review policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date
  • Support the analysis of investment proposals for alternative assets for the Luxembourg investment platforms
  • Contribute to investment strategy discussion and development
  • Monitor performance of incumbent assets
  • Develop controlling tools to ensure efficient performance monitoring
  • Prepare relevant reports to the Conducting Officers and to the Board

AIFs related duties:
  • Perform an initial check on the client acceptance and on-boarding process
  • Ensure the regulatory compliance of the funds setup
  • Provide transaction support

Key Requirements / Experience / Skills
  • Has experience in a Compliance role in Luxembourg (preferably in AIFM or UCITS management company), an alternative investments/real estate background would be an asset
  • University degree in business administration, economics or law
  • Excellent understanding of the laws and regulations relevant to the Funds Industry (especially AIFM and AML/CFT regulations)
  • Proven analytical and implementation skills with ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong interest in and affinity for investments, esp. in real estate
  • Strong team player
  • Strong communication, facilitation, conflict management skills to manage diverse stakeholders and providers
  • CFA charter or equivalent qualification would be an asset
  • Fluency in English; other European languages, esp. German, French would be an asset
