ConnectMe Capital, llc is recruiting on behalf of their client, a Hedge Fund in NYC, for an Operations Analyst:

Operations Analyst for Hedge Fund, NYC:

• Exciting opportunity to work at Investment Management firm based in NYC, where you will be responsible for supporting all operational aspects of Hedge Fund/PE Style investing strategies
• Responsibilities will include working with custodians, brokers and fund administrator to perform trade review/reconciliation and resolve discrepancies, assist in corporate actions and collateral management, ensure accurate and timely settlement and recording of transactions and positions, assist in P&L calculations, valuations process, maintaining strong internal controls, and perform ad hoc projects.
• Must have 5 to 7 years of Trading Operations or Middle Office experience, with working knowledge of multiple asset classes such as: Swaps, Swaptions, ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLO, IRS, TBAs, Options, Curve Options, Futures and Mezzanine Loans (you do not need to know all)
• Must have Advanced Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, v/h lookups)
• Strong communication skills, motivated, team player, analytical, problem solver,  ability to multitask, work independently and collaboratively
• Sell side experience preferred, Geneva experience a plus
• Must have Bachelor’s degree 
• Position based in NYC
