Position Description:
PIMCO has newly created a Digital Solutions group to drive digital innovation for the firm and is seeking a senior digital product leader as a Digital Product Manager to shape both the work and the team in this "start-up" within a global giant.
In partnership with the business and critical subject matter experts, this role will be responsible for executing an experience strategy, managing a multi-year digital product vision and driving forward a set of roadmaps for digital experiences that will add value to the traditional asset management expertise of the firm. This role will partner with technology and the Lead, Design and User Experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for building the highest quality experiences for users (advisors and account managers that service advisors). It requires a leader that is extremely data driven and has proven experience in making the complex simple and intuitive. The leader must also be obsessively user centric and able to demonstrate that they have user centered principles in all of their work.
Given that this role will grow over time, this candidate should have a proven track record of creating high performing teams including hiring and retaining top talent, creating a culture of collaboration and partnership and providing mentorship and skills development for their team
Finally, the candidate will have experience partnering extremely closely with technology - with a preference given to those with deep experience in agile development environments. They will have experience in both building stand-alone features and applications and integrating partner or agency work given that the experience will most likely be a combination of build and partner.
Important to note, this role will NOT be responsible for Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, Content Marketing or Channel Marketing but will partner with those already established global teams as needed.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree from accredited institution
- 7+ years of experience in product development and experience design
- Financial services experience preferred, but not required
- Prior experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and grooming backlogs
- Prior experience working with design on wire frames and visual design
