Position Description:

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst to own the business process workflow within our technology platform for a key distribution channel at PIMCO. The platform includes the CRM system, Business Intelligence solution, and other integrated applications used by the business. The focus of this position is to work closely with the Sales, Servicing and Marketing organizations at PIMCO to understand their business processes, data and reporting needs in order to design optimal technical solutions to meet those needs. On mid-size to larger projects the candidate would be responsible for creating project plans, assigning tasks, tracking execution, as well as owning tasks. On projects of all sizes the candidate would be responsible for creating and managing project plans, tracking delivery and execution, and actively engaging with other internal technology partners. On projects of all sizes, the candidate would also be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, coordinating with development teams, testing solutions, communicating with stakeholders and executing training.

Primary responsibilities will include:
• In-depth understanding of the business processes of an asset management distribution function which includes institutional clients, prospects and financial advisors that would equip candidate to act as proxy for the business if required
• Closely coordinating with business stakeholders to gather, organize, and prioritize requirements for strategic projects
• Possess strong business writing skills to create requirements, solutions documents, training or reference materials and release notes
• Communicate with executive stakeholders on project status and deliverables
• Design, test, and provide training solutions to the business
• Provide application support for end users
• Create project plans for mid-size and larger projects and own the execution of the plan
• Possess strong analytical skills and be able to fulfill ad hoc reporting requests or analysis for business users and/or management
• Coordinating with development teams across the entire technology platform
• Acquire solid understanding of PIMCO's data sources and data flow

Position Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in CRM and BI platforms
• Extremely proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or SalesForce is a must
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects at once
• Experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
• Broker Dealer/Mutual Fund Financial Services experience is highly valuable
• Experience in consulting a strong plus
• Experience in the distribution arm of asset management a plus
• Experience with SQL or the desire to learn
• Systems implementation methodology background a plus
• Experience with task management tools such as JIRA
• Agile, SDLC tools experience a plus
• Product Experience preferred: Seismic, SharePoint, Box, SLACK
