We are looking for candidate:
• Prefer 10 years or more experience in the front line of China asset management industry role as sales or product development with an insurance company, fund manager, broker and custodian
• In depth knowledge of the fund market in terms:
o Asset management regulations and market development as well as trend
o Strong connection with the regulators (e.g. CBIRC, CSRC, AMAC) and the major industrial players.
o Knowledge of type of fund products (MMF, exchange market, fixed income, multiasset, QDII) offered in the market, product features, design and distribution channel
o Involved in the product design and distribution process
o Understand the operational workflow of the funds (involving 3rd party clearing model), from initiation, distribution, portfolio management, trading, to custodian and service provider level
o Have solid relationship with private fund managers, asset management department/subsidiaries of Insurance companies
• Demonstrated ability to originate business and with proven track record; network and relationship with the decision makers and influencers
• Have the right business development mindset as this is a new business and product for the bank
• Ability to work in team environment and with frequent travel (within China)
• Prior exposure or have worked in an international organization preferred; English language skill not a must but preferred
• Have the perquisite local licenses; international qualification such as CFA a plus
