Senior Financial Analyst

The employee will have a strong understanding of the business and provide detailed forecasts with commentary and fact based analysis to senior leadership. As a member of our financial planning team, you will be expected to be knowledgeable of the latest forecast tools to improve the speed, accuracy, repeatability and flexibility of the forecast process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Builds strong relationships with other finance constituency throughout the Company including Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations and Business Unit Finance teams.
• Analyze internal business segments financials including key profitability indicator ratios, such as Return on Invested Capital
• Prepare and present a financial competitive analysis against all major competitors
• Support the daily functions of the Investor Relations department including the participation in regular investor conference calls
• Monitor industry and analyst activity pertaining to our publicly traded equities including consensus estimates, SEC filings and competitive analysis
• Provide financial support for our quarterly earnings call process, by working closely with various financial and operational partners in the development of all earnings call documents
• Prepares quarterly Board presentations with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Analyzes business data to provide recommendations and actionable insights to improve business performance

Qualifications (may vary by level)

Required Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
• MBA or CFA with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance role

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively within the organization.
• Ability to multi-task, strong organization skills and is deadline driven.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements analysis and reporting including a strong understanding of balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with extremely strong Microsoft Excel skills including macros.
• Requires excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate level of skill with MS PowerPoint (create presentation, charts, insert graphs & tables).
• Knowledge of Hyperion Brio, Tableau and Hyperion Essbase strongly recommended
• Strong record of academic and professional achievement.

Travel Requirements : Minimal travel will be required.
