Position Description:

PIMCO is looking for a highly capable individual to join the Talent Development (TD) team.

This position is responsible for the facilitation of the end-to-end Talent Development process including needs analysis, training organisation, training marketing, systems oversight and administration.
The ideal team member is a self-starter who is extremely results- and detail-oriented, has strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and is able to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

The role is based in London, UK and will require occasional travel to other PIMCO offices, primarily in EMEA.

Position Requirements:

Core Responsibilities:
  • Provides assistance and coordination in the development and maintenance of HR technology systems such as LMS (Cornerstone on Demand) and EPM (Saba)
  • Everyday Learning Management System (LMS) logistical requirements (creates/publishes/ archives online/instructor-led courses, adds/deletes resources, creates/manages communications)
  • Provides LMS and EPM system support to leadership and employees; trains managers, colleagues and employees on basic use of the systems' self-serve functionalities
  • Proactively respond to inbound communications and requests from employees and HR partners to the TD Team general email mailbox and phone lines
  • Maintenance and control of the Learning Management System, Plato/Cornerstone, to create live and virtual training engagements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues in HR and the business to establish training needs.
  • Maintenance of training records.
  • Organisation of live training events, including room set up, assisting facilitators, event logistics and review and evaluation.
  • Facilitate communication and partnership with HR consultants (generalists) globally.
  • Plan and execute the training for the Global Summer Internship Program, in partnership with the Campus Recruiting team.
  • Execute the new hire transition and entry level development programs for all new graduate hires.
  • Be local resource and source of expertise on the Performance Management System (EPM/Saba)
  • Support PIMCO's New Hire Orientation and other skills development workshops
• Support PIMCO's onboarding and new hire experience

What We Look For:
  • Strong technical aptitude and systems acumen and direct experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Employee Performance System (EPM)
  • A working knowledge of Cornerstone On Demand and Saba is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Program and/or project management experience required
  • Rigorous attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through
  • People-oriented, emotionally intelligent team player with strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to exercise judgment, handle confidential information and take initiative and work with various levels of employees
• Ability to troubleshoot, strategize and implement process changes with minimal direction
• Flexibility in work hours as required by training programs
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college / university or equivalent experience in Talent Management or Learning & Development preferred
