The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Consultant within the Real Estate Advisory Services team, in our Brisbane office. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.

This opening will provide the incumbent with the opportunity to work with a highly experienced Real Estate team, within a national practice. The role offers experience across multiple industry sectors as well as across function within the EY Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) network. Due to their continued success, this is a rapidly growing team with ambitious plans to expand the Brisbane practice.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide vendor and acquisition due diligence for clients disposing or acquiring real estate assets or portfolios of assets.
• Assist in the management of real estate transactions, including contributing to pitches, production of information memorandums, liaising with vendors / bidders and bid analysis and evaluation.
• Provide real estate cash flow modelling for income producing and developing assets in addition to analytic model reviews
• Provide market research and trend analysis, undertake thought leaderships papers, prepare business cases, transaction strategies and property development advisory.
• Work on valuation assignments in both stabilised assets and development properties.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience using Argus Enterprise, Estate Master or other financial modelling programs will be highly regarded
• Strong analytical skills, communication skills and attention to detail
• A detailed understanding of private sector and government valuation processes
• Experience in client facing roles, with good report writing and presentation skills
• A bachelor's degree in a Property or Real Estate Valuations

Ideally, you'll also have, or be progressing towards

• Having qualified as a valuer or worked as assistant valuer would be highly regarded
• Professional accreditation such a CPV of the API or RIC; or CFA, CPA or ACA
