Our TAS division offers companies professional transaction experience, from the origination phase of the transaction lifecycle, through execution, to transaction integration. We provide clients with a single point of contact who is focused on building a strategic relationship to address their transactions needs, and who can help leverage a global network of professionals to bring the right people and experience to work on every phase of a transaction.

The M&A practice advises privately owned businesses, ASX listed companies and private equity clients on mergers, acquisitions and divestiture opportunities across a diverse range of industries, leveraging the organisations global execution capabilities.

Your key responsibilities
  • Conduct industry research to assist in business development activities
  • Play a key role in deal origination and preparation of relevant materials
  • Complete in-depth financial analysis and build financial models
  • Assist in the preparation of key marketing materials
  • Be an active member of project management team on transactions
  • Assume responsibility for certain components of engagements
  • Contribute to client meetings and building strong client relationships

To qualify for the role you must have
  • A degree qualification and approximately 2-3 years of relevant transaction work experience, within corporate advisory, transaction services, valuations or financial modelling. Would also consider audit or corporate restructuring experience.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in financial analysis and financial modelling
  • Strong business writing skills
  • CA, CFA or other relevant postgraduate study viewed favourably
  • Outstanding communication skills and an ability to grasp complex subjects quickly and distil them into clear, concise language
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Successful candidates must have an intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in M&A and global financial markets, and have a willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
