Direct Investment/Private Equity (VP and Director)

Responsibilities:

Report to Managing Director of Direct Investment, to identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligning with fund investment strategies and direction (currently with focus in Discretionary Consumer, Culture and Media sectors);
Perform investment research, modelling, and valuations;
Lead / Participate in deal negotiations;
Manage the entire investment process from deal screening, deal structuring, due diligence, documentation and closing, post-closing investment monitoring to exit;
Build and maintain strong and productive relationship with clients, co-investors and strategic partners.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in Accounting/Finance/Investment or related disciplines
With professional qualification as CPA or CFA
Minimum 7 years of solid working experience in private equity or direct investment, with proven track records
In-depth industry knowledge in the Discretionary Consumer, Culture and Media sectors
Hands-on experience in deal origination and execution
Strong financial analysis, modelling, and negotiation skills
Self-initiative, team player and work well independently and under pressure
High fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both oral and written
