As Head Strategic Financial Planning, your role is to lead the team to support the SIX Group strategic planning process and related strategic financial topics. You will work within the Strategic Planning department of the Strategy and M&A function at and will work closely with teams across SIX. You will support the central department, all Business Units and Corporate Functions in the strategic planning process and related strategic financial matters.

Main duties
  • Shaping the company's overall business strategy
  • Lead the delivery of the medium term strategic financial plan
  • Take the lead for all strategic financial topics
  • Lead the delivery of the financial business case reviews
  • Manage two direct reports to deliver the financial plan and related strategic financial topics
  • Assessment and development of strategic directions / measures and mapping of the strategy
  • Conduct research and data analysis (markets, competitors, industry trends)
  • Monitoring of the development and implementation of the medium-term strategy


Your profile
  • Higher academic college or university degree (FH / Uni)
  • Professional qualification (eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) would be an advantage
  • At least 5 years experience in a strategy development or financial planning and analysis role, preferably in a financial sector company (ideally in an international environment) and experience in strategic planning processes
  • Expert excel and powerpoint skills
  • Demonstrable strategic and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Customer-oriented, excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Good team player with ability to operate autonomously and proactively
  • Strong German and English language skills
