Job Details
Mirae Asset Global Investments (USA) LLC is seeking an equity sector analyst with experience covering the healthcare sector. 3-5 years of equity analysis experience is desired. The analyst will be involved in all stages of the research process for companies in both developed and emerging markets. The analyst will be an integral part of the firm’s global investment team and will interface regularly with the firm’s offices in Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth fundamental research on companies
- Working closely with portfolio managers to provide information necessary to make investment decisions
- Monitoring and reporting on key market and company data, implications and recommendations
- Making company visits and attending industry conferences to follow industry trends and assess company prospects
- Writing company and industry reports
- Communicating regularly with investment team members in the firm’s overseas offices
- Researching, proposing and defending buy/hold/sell recommendations
- Researching and analyzing initial and secondary public offerings
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and update financial models
- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
- A CFA designation is preferred
- Healthcare analyst must have a minimum of 3 years experience covering healthcare-related companies
