Long only Asian Equity Analyst (SEA focus) - Sydney Based

Long-only Equity Research Analyst- Asian (SEA, Ex Japan and China) Stocks, Industrials, Financials, Consumers, Healthcare, Generalist. Market Research, Strategy. Location; Australia - Sydney.

• Assist development of business and strategic activities by providing insightful market analysis.
• Provide up to date weekly information updates.

• Assist with projects as required.

• Highly effective written and oral communication skills to produce written reports and presentations as you will be based in Australia and dealing with the region (Asian language capabilities highly advantageous)

• Degree qualifications in a financial discipline with strong academic transcripts. CFA qualification highly regarded but not essential.
• Have a strong sense of the financial markets and be able to provide insightful analysis of potential investee companies

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-8+ years' experience in equity research within South East Asian markets (Ex Japan and China) with strong contacts
• Minimum First-Class Honours in economics, commerce, or finance degree. Masters would be looked on favourably.
• Able to develop own views on market and translate into commercial implications
• Be willing to be based in Sydney, Australia office
• Reporting to Portfolio Manager
