We are currently seeking a talented and driven Research Analyst to work in our Real Estate, Infrastructure and Transport Team, based in Melbourne or Sydney. Working directly with the Lead Analysts, you will be responsible for assisting in modelling, valuing and writing on Transport and Infrastructure companies. You will also be responsible for performing both qualitative and quantitative analysis on the sector.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Valuation, modelling and financial analysis of Transport and Infrastructure companies.
  • Assistance and responsibility for writing reports that analyse aspects of companies and industries.
  • Undertaking in-depth analysis of particular issues affecting the industry.
  • Liaising with and responding to client requests for information and insights.
  • Keeping track of data sources that may yield insights into the sector.
  • Provide analytical support for Real Estate companies under coverage where required.


To be successful, you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Economics or Engineering.
  • Completion of, or currently studying, a post graduate qualification (e.g. CFA, Masters of Finance or CA) is favourable.
  • At least two years of relevant financial analysis experience in the financial or professional services, transport and infrastructure (or real estate) sectors.
  • Strong understanding of and ability to constructively analyse financial statements.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft products, in particular Excel, and also Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to produce high quality written reports and deliver effective group presentations.
