Our client, a well-established asset management company, is seeking a Regional Asia Equities Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fundamental research on companies and providing stock recommendations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct fundamental research, and company visits with focus on their respective country locations (including ASEAN, Korea, India, Australia)
  • Maintain detailed financial models, writing internal notes, generate stock ideas / buy / sell recommendations to fund managers
  • Monitor key macro-economic events and news flows to form a view on the market
  • Recommend investment ideas and participate in daily conference calls / meetings to present stock ideas to fund managers at both regional and global levels
  • Assist in preparing marketing presentation materials to clients when required

Requirements
  • University degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics or related disciplines. MBA / CFA qualifications is well-regarded
  • At least four years of experience in analyzing companies, in either buy or sell-side
  • Strong business sense and sound analytical and stock selection skills
  • Solid modeling skills and thorough understanding of principles of stock valuation
  • Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English, plus an Asian language skills
  • Able to work independently
