Corporate Rating Analyst - Utilities & Infrastructure

Your tasks & responsibilities

• Perform analysis and conduct rating and research on a diversified portfolio of Corporate credits
• on a broad range of high yield and Investment Grade Corporates
• Conduct and participate in the team's continuous process of methodology development, both on a sector-basis and with regard to the general Corporate Methodology
• Act as an expert on Utilities and other infrastructure sectors
• Presentation to and participation in rating committees
• Production of rating reports, sector research and timely comments, demonstrating Scope's expertise in business and industry trends
• Interaction with senior executives (CFOs, CEOs, Treasures) of rated entities and media
• Investor, issuer and arranger outreach, presenting and explaining Scope's analytical approach

Your professional profile

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience with an internationally recognized financial institution such as a large rating agency, an investment fund, investment bank or treasury of relevant corporates
• Very strong academic background with an e. g. MSc and CFA charter holder
• Excellent skills in credit or equity research, financial modelling with a clear focus on utilities, infrastructure or power-related corporates
• Diverse deal experience from bonds, syndicated loans or other debt-related instruments
• Proficient written and oral communication skills in English is a must. German or any other European language would be a plus.
