Credit Risk Manager

Perform internal review and in-depth credit analysis of counterparties including sectoral currency and local risks
Perform risk assessments and review credit proposals submitted, exercise credit judgement and make sound credit recommendations/decisions
Perform proactive ongoing credit monitoring and risk management on new and existing portfolios
Perform onboarding "KYC" procedures, sanctions screenings and adverse news checks on counterparties
Develop and publish new policies and guidelines
Monitor and support compliance with internal and external requirements
Liaise and coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance to risk management policy
Any ad hoc risk projects that may be assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

Business type degree, MBA preferred, CFA a plus
8 to 15 years' working experience in a similar finance or corporate finance field and familiar with the financial regulatory system and legal framework
Demonstrated success in identifying bad credit risks through in-depth credit review and shrewdness in credit and financial analysis
Proficient in financial analysis, financial projections and modelling
Well-versed in reading financial statements of many diversified industries and sectors
Good analytical, presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Possess business acumen and has a keen interest in risk assessment and able to recommend adequate risk control responses
