Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for stock analysis and investment recommendations, undertaking robust and rigorous research and analysis of companies across conusmer sector.
  • Recommend and share investment ideas for equities with other investment professionals within the HK and mainland equities team.
  • Provide macro-economic views and insights as well as opinions on the outlook for HK equities and key and pertinent market drivers from top-down and bottom-up perspectives.
  • Operate as part of the team utilizing best practices in terms of philosophy and process while contributing to evolution and development.
  • Build partnership and strong working relationship with counterparts around the region
  • Independent sector/industry coverage and company research, including research publications
  • Engage in financial modelling and financial statement analysis of specialty companies.
  • Design and implement financial models for generating earnings estimates utilizing historic and projected information concerning valuation and risk management strategies.
  • Engage data analysis and summary to describe current and long term trends in the sector.
  • Provide investment recommendations based on risk assessment of short and long-term prognosis of individual companies.
  • Prepare statistical exhibits and conduct presentations for senior management officials and clients.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
  • minimum 5 years equity research experience in Consumer in the HK Stock market.
  • Proven research and analytic capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects
  • Original and independent thinker, able to work in a team environment
  • Exercises good judgement coupled with the ability to make decisions quickly
  • Ability to operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Excellent financial modelling, numerical, and writing skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to produce high-quality, detail-oriented work
  • CFA and/or post graduate degree preferred
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, in both writing and speaking
