Over time, we would expect the junior analyst to gain enough confidence to analyse companies independently and become the lead credit analyst on selected names. CreditSights will support candidates pursuing the CFA programme.

The firm has around 1,000 institutional clients around the world, including banks, investment advisors, mutual funds, pension managers, insurance companies, hedge funds, private equity firms and corporations.
Key responsibilities:
- Building and updating financial and regulatory models
- Interpreting and analyzing financial statements for credit analysis
- Monitoring and analyzing the impact of news on either a bank's or a company's credit profile
- Background research on either the European banking, insurance or autos & industrials sectors
- Monitoring and interpreting bond and equity market movements
- Attending and eventually participating in meetings with bond issuers and with our clients
- Writing research reports under the guidance of a senior analyst
Key skills:
- One or two years' experience analysing either European banks, insurance or autos & industrials
- Highly organised with a methodical approach to work & excellent attention to detail
- A keen interest in learning about financial markets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
