As Senior Client Strategist, you will be responsible for engaging with a large number of existing clients and prospects, to set the foundation for long-term investment strategy and portfolio management framework. You will deliver Investment solutions that will influence clients and prospects to improve outcomes, including Delegated and Specialist Solutions, in alignment with the client's/prospect's objectives and working seamlessly with Senior Investment Consultants, Portfolio Managers, Business Development, and cross-Line of Business colleagues.
The Role

  • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and large prospects, addressing their unique needs with bespoke Investment solutions that leverage our capabilities and offerings
  • Lead on the strategy development of Investment solutions for existing clients and prospects
  • Advise clients on a variety of investment issues that help identify, assess, manage, measure and transform their organisation's performance and capabilities
  • Influence and persuade key client stakeholders and decision makers at the most senior levels of the client organisation, promoting new Investment solutions that create better portfolios and achieve improved performance
  • Take the lead on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities from large prospects and existing clients, contributing to the financial success of our business
  • Generate pipeline progress against growth objectives
  • Work effectively with Investment and Business Development resources to identify prospects and articulate their goals/objectives, as well as to develop solutions that improve client outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the Client Relationship lead during the relevant projects
  • Be a senior resource for the investment practice and a key point relationship contact for the broader firm
  • Actively develop and mentor talent, providing direction, feedback and coaching
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and best in class thinking and solutions for our business
  • Ensure that all advice given during the relevant strategy discussions is consistent with our Professional Excellence guidelines and the WTW core values
The Requirements
  • Ability to build multiple relationships at the most senior levels within client organisations
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders (internal and external) via formal and informal channels
  • Track record of business development and consultative sales expertise
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking
  • Knowledge of the best ideas in managing risk in a holistic manner and the ability to influence multiple pools of capital for the better
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across Investment practices and geographies; team player
  • Significant investment and risk management acumen (Qualified CFA, Actuarial or other suitable qualification)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • IT literate
