THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide oversight of the performance function to ensure the on-going quality and accuracy of reporting performance measurement
  • Take initiative with special projects and successfully lead, execute, and complete high-profile projects
  • Ensure that all the reporting is produced within mandated and regulatory time frames
  • Prepare, interpret and investigate anomalies in attribution/contribution reports used in the analyses of performance. Understand various attribution models
  • Work with the data solutions team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of static and time series data across relevant portfolios, benchmarks, or other performance data
  • Work towards being a local GIPS SME. Maintain composites and lead in the day-to-day GIPS efforts; compile data and documentation for firm-wide verification efforts
  • Assist in the automation of the production of performance and risk information
  • Manage the ad-hoc client queries related to reporting and performance
  • Preparation of client reports on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of fund performance, characteristics reports and risk data
  • Introduce other value-adding functions that the performance team can provide for the business


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Previous related experience in the asset management industry and demonstrating a thorough understanding of both retail and institutional products across various asset classes
  • Experience with the use of Factset and/or Bloomberg
  • Strong understanding of GIPS. Exhibit a comprehensive knowledge in performance and keep up-to-date with regulatory and industry guidelines
  • Widespread knowledge of investment products
  • CFA qualification is desirable
