The Role:
The Candidate:
- Lead on day to day transaction management including: interface with clients and other advisors, update documents, administering data rooms, organising all party calls/meetings and attending where necessary
- Perform financial analyses, including valuation, merger model and reviewing financial accounts
- Managing resources for researching and analysing industry and company information
- Manage and mentor junior staff
- Managing preparation of pitchbooks / presentations
- Build detailed financial models, incorporating operational and cash flow forecasts
- Draft teasers, information memorandums and other marketing documents
- Research and develop potential strategic and buyer list
The Candidate:
- The position requires a self-confident person who is reliable and well organised with a high level of attention to detail and track record in managing a team of analysts;
- Highly motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines;
- ACA or CFA qualification;
- A minimum of 4 years UK transaction and relevant corporate finance experience from Big 4 accountancy practice or other leading corporate finance advisory firm;
- Strong academic background with relevant valuation and corporate finance studies;
- Proven competence in financial modelling (DCF / LBO / merger models) and real estate specific financial analysis (appraisals, real estate valuations, development modelling);
- Excellent communication skills (fluency in written and oral English)
- Strong interpersonal skills - with both senior management and junior resources
- Excellent oral presentation skills
