Investment Analyst

Company Description

Our client, a well-established global multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking an Investment Analyst. Based in HK office, the successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers in HK and US offices to contribute trade ideas for their fundamental driven convertible strategy.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with portfolio manager to generate investment ideas across asset classes, including equities, fixed income and CBs
• Perform extensive fundamental research, financial modeling, valuations on various companies (primarily in Asia)
• Execute trades for both listed products (equities, bonds, FX, etc) and OTC structured products

Requirements

• University graduate with degree in Finance / Economics or related discipline. MBA / CFA qualification is well-regarded
• At least 4 years of experience in analyzing companies, in either buy or sell side. Prior experience in CBs is a plus
• Solid modeling skills and thorough understanding of principles of valuation is required
• Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Able to work independently when under pressure
