Position Description:

Over the past 24+ months, PIMCO has undergone significant change in the realm of digital readiness. As part of a global digital transformation initiative spearheaded by Technology and Marketing, PIMCO has built the stage to enable personalized client-centric experiences.
The firm is seeking an experienced SEO/SEM professional to drive the strategy and execution of PIMCO's search engine optimization program and partner with our paid media teams to influence our search engine marketing efforts. We are seeking a self-starter who is passionate about search, content development, and data-driven digital marketing. The role will partner closely with our content, publishing, analytics, and technical teams. The incumbent will serve as the resident expert on search capabilities across the global organization. This is an Associate level role reporting into the Vice President of Digital Marketing, based in Austin, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing SEO/SEM practice, including optimizing search and social working closely with paid media team to implement and coordinate new and existing efforts globally
• Helping educate and influence marketing teams globally to implement best practices to enhance SEO/SEM efforts/results and piloting new techniques
• Tracking and enhancing campaign outcomes with a focus on prospect/client acquisition while maximizing effectiveness of digital spend
• Building and maintaining a SEO/SEM framework, keeping pace with search, social media, and digital marketing trends to keep PIMCO best in class
• Partnering with agencies to evaluate current search efforts and building future roadmap for PIMCOs search efforts
• Working with marketing insights to analyze campaign results and recommending solutions that optimize growth channels, and lower overall CPA
• Performing ongoing keyword research, discovery, and expansion to develop, monitor and track target keywords, inbound traffic, rankings, and search analytics
• Performing ongoing and regular technical analysis, monitoring and reporting on webmaster tool errors, sitemaps and crawl issues
• Staying up-to-date on technical best practices and developing requirements for technical SEO implementation across global digital properties
• Developing and managing comprehensive backlink strategies, working closely with content partners and publishers, to develop new opportunities that drive inbound traffic

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in SEO/SEM and a passion for digital marketing, previous experience at a top search agency preferred
• Experience working with popular keyword tools and search management platforms (Google Keyword Planner, Adwords, Search Console, Moz, SEM Rush, Marin, etc.)
• Experience with web analytics, performing in depth keyword analysis and competitive research, to drive ongoing optimization strategies
• Experience working across articles and rich media content to develop fully optimized headlines, copy, links, video and images
• Experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits and developing technical requirements for implementation, with a focus on an optimized metadata, reduced page load time, and enhancements across mobile, video, and voice search
• Experience working with global teams in different time zones
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and the ability to manage multi-faceted initiatives
• Strategic thinker, independent problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive consensus
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
