Investment Associate (Energy - Traditional and Alternatives)

The Investment Associate will:

Evaluate investment opportunities across different energy segments such as natural resources (coal, oil & gas, etc), and alternatives (renewable energy, agribusiness etc)
Interact with investment banks, developers and industry leaders to generate investment opportunities
Perform financial analysis, develop and maintain financial models
Contribute to the negotiation and deal structuring process with senior team members
Active management of portfolio companies, working with Management closely to develop the business

The ideal candidates must have:

3 - 6 years of prior work experience in a private equity, corporate M&A, investment banking or big 4 setting
Exposure to energy sector is a strong advantage
Strong financial analysis and Excel modelling skills with a great attention to details
Strong academic background from reputable institutions; MBA, ACCA, CFA will be considered favourably
A positive mindset, be self-motivated and is a good team player
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken). Fluency in regional Asian languages would strongly assist in coverage efforts
Must be willing to travel.
