Senior Fund Accountant

A Private Equity REal Estate Firm are currently recruiting for a Senior Fund Accountant where you will be responsible for the day to day accounting and reporting function for the company's close-ended and open-ended funds. You will work with the Fund Controllers in preparation of the quarterly investor reports, annual audit, annual budget reporting and debt compliance as well as the capital call distribution process and limited partner requests. There is also progressive growth with this position and within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Month close for all non-property entities within the fund structure
• Review monthly bank reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Prepare distribution calculations and coordinate wire transfers
• Analysis of the inter-company transactions for related party footnote
• Assist with foreign exchange calculation entries
• Assist with monthly fair value accounting and balance sheet review
• Draft fund investor reports
• Draft the consolidated financial statement for the fund
• Assist with completion of quarterly investor requests
• Support the audit at year end
• Create and update annual budgets/forecasts
• Complete and maintain all investor notices
• Maintain Investor capital accounts

Experience Required

• 3 - years minimum fund accounting experience
• Real Estate experience highly desired
• CPA or CFA highly preferred
• Knowledge of US GAAP and investment accounting
• Yardi Voyager experience desirable
