Consultant - San Francisco

Verus is in search of a self-motivated individual to join our downtown San Francisco office. Candidates should have a good grasp of the investment industry and capital markets and be client-service focused. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, written and organizational skills. 

The Consultant position is primarily responsible for the delivery of the firm’s consulting services, spanning investment strategy, asset allocation, investment manager assessment and implementation, through multiple communication approaches, including written and formal/informal presentations.   The Consultant will be part of a team, collaborating with a senior consultant on client projects and initiatives in support of existing clients.  As the Consultant’s experience increases, the position will begin to participate in supporting business growth through new client relationship development.

Prerequisites:  

Minimum of 5 years relevant investment experience with institutional clients as a consultant, research associate or senior member of an investment team. 

CFA designation required.  

Established relationships with a network of colleagues in the broader investment community. 

Thought leadership demonstrated through white papers and public speaking.
