  • The Hong Kong Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for communications of business results, performance review, forward looking processes, and decision support activities, serving multiple business stakeholders across the entire franchise, both Global Consumer Banking (GCB) and Institutional Clients Group (ICG)
  • The role is expected to closely engage with business managers in all forward looking exercises, getting a realistic outlook for latest business performance, and helping respective business managers to drive business results. The role is also expected to be heavily involved in multiple global/regional projects on the finance infrastructure, CCAR and other local regulatory stress-testing exercises, as well as other business growth initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for GCB Retail planning and analysis function, covering balance sheet products and customer segment analysis
  • Support business decision making process by providing essential analytical skills, financial models, and internal tracking of key performance indicators
  • Participate in all forward looking activities (weekly flash, corporate outlooks, plan, MYF, CCAR, local stress tests, etc.)
  • Work closely with business to provide timely financial information to senior management to facilitate effective and informed decision making
  • Help prepare business and strategy presentations for senior management reviews and meetings
  • Perform ad-hoc what if scenario and other financial analysis as needed to support the business
  • Get involved in multiple country/regional/global projects


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferable in a discipline related to Finance/Economics
  • Minimum 5-7 years working experience in Finance or related field
  • Basic accounting knowledge required, CPA, CFA or other accounting/finance qualification would be advantageous
  • Strong communication, project management, Excel modeling and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage own time amidst competing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to navigate vast amounts of complex data easily, with attention to detail
