Bitterroot Capital Advisors, LLC, (“BCA”) is a unique, broad-scope financial advisor to a small number of select, mostly first-generation, global private clients.  We’re an independent fee-only RIA.  Registered in both the U.S. and Canada, we’re seeking an accomplished and experienced professional to advise several of our UHNW clients and their families and to develop new client relationships to expand our established $1B+ AUM, 20-year old firm now located in Bozeman, Montana.

Roles:  Co-advise several of our existing clients while also developing new client engagements, becoming their lead advisor while coordinating the delivery of BCA’s established, comprehensive services.

Responsibilities:  To (i) become the lead client-facing advisor to personally-developed and other client relationships, (ii) lead and oversee BCA’s services to those clients by identifying and anticipating their comprehensive financial and investment needs, conceiving and creating what are often customized, multi-disciplinary solutions and then coordinating the development and delivery of those services, some of which may be developed by other BCA professionals working as a team and (iii) develop new clients by identifying suitable prospects, cultivating those relationships into clients leading to long-term engagements with our Firm.

Desired Qualifications:   Demonstrated excellence with a minimum 15 years’ experience advising C-level executives and entrepreneurs in financial matters, preferably in client-facing investment banking (corporate advisory or corporate finance) or senior-level consulting roles with similar experience.  Excellent character and presence, strong interpersonal abilities with demonstrated skill in engaging others.  Very strong listening and communications skills, both oral and written.  Excellent academic preparation.  Ideal candidate with have the personality to embrace this position in an amiable, engaging and dynamic manner.  BS/BA required.  MBA, additional degree and/or advanced professional certification very desirable.
