Equity Trader

San Francisco Bay Area RIA seeking a trader/operations individual to join the team in March or April.  The firm was founded more than thirteen years ago, and manages $1.1B primarily for institutional clients.  The Firm has ten employees, and does not anticipate growing headcount significantly larger.  Ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience trading U.S. small cap stocks, and will want to learn or increase the amount of operational and client facing work done.  Primary job duties will be trading equities but also supporting the operations and research teams regarding client service and marketing efforts.  Responsibilities include:

• Implementing investment decisions by initiating equity trades based on Portfolio Managers’ instructions;
• Day to day monitoring of equity portfolio strategies, including cash positions and trade settlements;
• Trade related operational support, including broker set up, broker relationship management, client onboarding, and client reporting.
