The Role: Associate, Insurance Client Operations

The Location: Charlottesville, VA

Grade (internal use only): 7A

The Team: We're a global team that is dedicated to supporting and training our diverse clients on the insurance solutions available on S&P Global Market Intelligence.

The Impact: Our passionate pursuit of excellent results in deep relationships with clients and helping them get the most out of our business intelligence tool.

What's in it for you: We're looking for an associate to join our team of tech-savvy, client-focused professionals who support our solutions for insurance users. As an associate you are the epitome of client support; providing exceptional customer service while showcasing vast knowledge about the S&P Global tools, our data, and the industries we cover. The top financial institutions in the world will be coming to you for guidance . This will allow you refine your business knowledge or to learn it if you don't have already relevant coursework or experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive inbound calls, emails, and chats on a daily basis and address questions related to how we capture, process, and display data
  • The associate will become an industry specialist and act as a resource for colleagues and clients across the globe.
  • Over time the associate will take on additional responsibilities including, but not limited to, leading weekly trainings and hosting/recording client training sessions
  • Recording accurate and timely tracking of client issues within our Client Relationship Management system
  • Documentation of newly found solutions and product updates
  • Collaboration with internal teams across the organization to route client concerns, improvement requests and sales leads
  • Staying current on existing and newly developed product offerings

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Undergraduate Degree holder, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Willingness to help clients
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CFA, ACCA, PMP certifications would be an advantage
