Key Responsibilities:
 
     * Proactively source candidates for the Financial Advisor (FA) role, reviewing candidate qualifications and developing and maintaining area sourcing strategies and business plans to attain firm goals
     * Developing and executing a Business Plan in partnership with the Regional Leaders and Recruiting Leaders.
     * Partnering with Recruiting Leaders to identify and build relationships with local groups and organizations to attract and recruit qualified, diverse, candidates.
     * Delivering FA recruiting messages to audiences such as Regional Leadership teams, Regional branch teams Leaders, and HQ associates to gain support of the firm's growth objective
     * Acquiring advanced knowledge of local competitor firms and communicate to local FAs and regions to assist in retaining our FAs and in recruiting licensed producers from other firms.
     * Building and maintaining relationships with a network of prospects and candidates.
     * Developing and maintaining sourcing strategies and business plans to attain goals while actively sharing sourcing and recruiting strategies with FA and Branch Office Administrators throughout the regions
     * Coordinating with Recruitment Marketing in the development and implementation of marketing materials to attract and engage Industry candidates.
     * Managing, maintaining and prioritizing a candidate pipeline of Industry candidates by following up with all candidate inquiries and closing appropriate files.
     * Working collaboratively with various recruiting teams, internal areas and Financial Advisors throughout the region.
     * Evaluating and maintaining the quality of Industry candidates hired to the firm.
     * Participating in the formulation and extension of employment offers for industry candidates.
     * Coordinating activities and maintaining constant open communication with the other recruiters
     * Backing up Talent Acquisition Manager and other Recruiters in sourcing and selection as necessary
     * Articulating and selling the Edward Jones opportunity in a compelling manner to candidates
     * Some travel within the regions will be required

A minimum of 5 years in recruitment
 
     * University Degree and functional knowledge required
     * Previous sales experience with proven ability to drive for results in a target based environment
     * Candidate must have knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and the overall competitive landscape in recruiting
     * In-depth knowledge of recruiting and hiring processes
     * Strong recruiting and sourcing knowledge including use of social networking sites, cold calling and managing a candidate pipeline within an applicant tracking systems
     * Advanced knowledge of competency-based selection
     * Proven ability to develop and implement new business strategies to support the changing market conditions and future firm growth
     * Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and contact management systems (CMS)
     * Mandarin or Cantonese language skill would be considered an additional asset
     * Advanced internet and social media based recruiting knowledge
