Major responsibilities

• Review P&L, financial analysis, management reports
• Provide oversight to new transactions as part of due diligence process
• Perform and update front to back reconciliation and control procedures
• Perform independent price verification and implement valuation adjustment and reserve calculations
• Undertake ad hoc and value-added business support
• Perform balance sheet control and financial disclosure reporting
• Provide business commentary and drive changes to streamline financial & control procedures

Key qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• 6+ years in financial analysis / product control or similar capacities
• Prior experience working in the banking industry and solid knowledge of accounting concepts
• Detail-minded, team player, self-motivated
• Strong leadership & interpersonal, and data interpretation skills
• Ability to deliver in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment

Good to have

• CPA, CFA, or equivalent accounting destinations
• Broad experience working on Securities, derivative and loan products
• Hands-on pricing and valuation experience
