Description

The position sits within the Australia Product Management team and is responsible for oversight of the investment analytics offering supported by our Operations teams, as well as contributing to product development initiatives and acting as a champion for our data strategy initiative.
Key Accountabilities
  • Technical subject matter expert for performance, attribution, risk analytics and mandate compliance within the APAC business. Training and guidance for APAC Operations teams
  • Accountability for:
    • Client management of the investment analytics service
    • Oversight of client reporting produced by the off-shore Operations team to ensure accuracy and timeliness
    • Validation of investigations carried out by the Operations team
    • Oversight of new service implementations
  • Project management and analysis for new product initiatives, as well as process improvements
  • Technical sales support for new business, including RFP submissions


Qualifications

Key skills and experience:
  • Postgraduate studies (CFA or FRM) or progress toward completion
  • 5+ years' experience working in a dedicated Performance Analytics team calculating equity or fixed income attribution
  • Strong technical knowledge of performance analytics methodologies and ex-ante risk analytics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to investigate issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Experience re-engineering processes and proven problem solving skills
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Advanced Excel skills and exposure to VBA
  • Excellent analytical, communication and client service skills along with good interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, independent and inquisitive
  • Previous experience with unit pricing, fund accounting and mandate compliance is preferred
*Less experienced candidates will be considered for an Assistant Vice President.
