Operational Due Diligence Officer

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct operational due diligence on hedge, private equity, real estate and long only funds

• Assist in evaluating external investments focusing on risks associated with fund operations

• Communicate with fund managers to gather relevant due diligence information

• Review and analyze funds' financial, legal, and other documents

• Participate in onsite due diligence meetings with senior fund personnel

• Create full-length operational due diligence reports for broad distribution

• Develop and leverage technology to maintain manager specific data and track due diligence metrics

• Participate in research, asset allocation, and investment committee meetings

• Attend industry events and seminars to monitor industry trends

• Conduct ad hoc projects to assist the investment teams'

Desired Qualifications

• Prior operational due diligence, or hedge fund operations/accounting experience, strongly preferred

• Understanding of various financial instruments

• Bachelor's degree required

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• CFA or CAIA preferred

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Superior analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills

• Superior written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work independently and efficiently on several assignments simultaneously

• Willingness to travel
