Accountant, buyside Hedge Fund

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end closing, P&L and fee reconciliations
• Work with the investment team Traders to perform month-end reconciliations
• Prepare accounting journal entries, liaise with auditors on audit schedules and tax fillings
• Update and maintain schedules for expense allocations for operating companies and trading entities
• Handle accounting duties for various operating and trading entities
• Assist in other ad hoc projects

Requirements

• At least two years of accounting experience with strong financial products knowledge such as derivatives, options, equities, fixed income etc
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance or related study
• Accounting knowledge/qualification is preferred
• CFA certificate is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, ability to work with different stakeholders to get things done
• Attention to details and good organization skills
