Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage a portfolio of projects end-to-end to deliver design and implementation of priority change initiatives across CIB businesses to meet regulatory and business requirements
- Drive definition of holistic end-to-end solutions to regulations or strategic change initiatives
- Own regulatory interpretation, impact assessment, internal policy definition, and execution of projects impacting CIB businesses
- Define deliverables and manage detailed implementation plans required to support solutions
- Negotiate and facilitate agreement of roles and responsibilities across business and control partners to support defined solutions and ownership of deliverables
- Manage and oversee internal and external resources as required to meet deliverables
- Brief leadership team on progress of priority change initiatives and escalate as appropriate
- Lead and facilitate senior governance forums and committees
- Develop and manage relationships with sponsors and stakeholders across business lines and supporting infrastructure teams
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to define and implement relevant rules, regulatory actions, or other management priorities
- Drive work stream delivery and partner with technology to deliver within timeframes
Experience/ Exposure:
- Proven track record of project delivery in a front office environment at an Investment Bank
- Product management, COO, business management and/or management consulting experience (with particular focus on financial services)
- Product knowledge particularly in Rates, Credit, Equities and/or FX cash/derivatives, with knowledge of the front-to-back trade lifecycle would be significantly advantageous
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with written responses to regulators such as on MRA, MRIA, exam findings or other actions
- Understanding and application of project management methodologies across delivery lifecycle
- Extremely proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

- Motivated, self-starting - able to initiate projects ensuring appropriate sponsorship, governance, funding and resources are available
- Works well under pressure and always with a professional demeanor
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, with ability to influence and challenge key decision makers, peer groups, internal service providers and functions outside direct control
- Agile and flexible - able to determine and resolve project slippage, scope changes, and prioritize deliverables to ensure critical milestones are met
Education/ Qualifications:
- Solid Undergraduate Degree required
- MBA / CFA a plus
