The Role:

To lead marketing planning and delivery of marketing campaigns for the Institutional channel working across regions as determined by the institutional marketing strategy.
Act as marketing lead for selected investment teams across institutional Fixed Income and Equities and Multi asset as required.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Take a lead role in the development and implementation of the Institutional marketing strategy, working closely with regional marketing colleagues, investment desks and the sales teams
* Develop and implement strategic plans and allocate appropriate budget for assigned channels and investment teams
* Lead the planning and implementation of integrated marketing communications campaigns for all institutional audiences, across all regions as and when appropriate
o Work with the institutional market team and regional marketers to deliver the campaigns
* Take an active role in budget planning, allocation and day-to-day management for all channel plans
* Research opportunities and plan marketing activity across all areas of responsibility with the help of the marketing executives
* Plan and develop marketing materials to support campaigns, events or sales activity using all elements of the marketing mix including digital, social media, events, print collateral and advertising
* Ensure that all marketing activities comply with the regulatory, Conduct Risk (Customer at Heart) and Treating Customers Fairly requirements of FCA and SEC regulators
* Work closely with internal departments and external agencies to ensure deadlines are adhered to and processes are effectively followed
* Effectively manage and build strong relationships with external agencies, internal suppliers and sales on an ongoing basis
* Monitor effectiveness of all marketing communications and campaign activity including working in an agile way as required
* Take on and help with specific project work as and when required

You will have:

We are looking for you to have several years' of institutional marketing experience gained in a financial services environment, ideally working with Fixed Income Investment Teams. Equities and Multi asset investment teams will also be an advantage.

It is beneficial for you to have international marketing experience along with good knowledge of the asset management industries in an international market preferably Asia and / or Northern Europe.

You will need experience of developing and delivering a strategic marketing plan along with having excellent project management skills, specifically the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

You must demonstrate that you are able to deal with senior staff and the ability to put ideas across succinctly and effectively.
It is important for you to have the ability to write good, clear, modern but grammatically correct English for an Institutional audience.

Language skills would be preferred along with a financial (IMC, CFA) or marketing (CIM) qualification

* The ability to think strategically and plan accordingly
* A real willingness to learn and keep learning

* A team player who is able to work independently
* Good IT skills - particularly in Powerpoint, Word and Excel
* Numerate.
