Senior FX Strategist / Economist

Responsiblities:-

• Provide fundamental economic analysis and insights for Developed and Emerging market economies & currencies forecast.
• Responsible for generating the Bank's Daily FX/Economic Reports. 
• Formulate short to long term FX Currency views & levels.
• Key Central Banks Interest Rates & Economic Data forecast levels.
• Prepare market commentaries / macro presentations for high net worth investors.
• Engage marketing teams regularly with macro & currency views.
• Generate monthly FX & FXO investment ideas & strategies with ICs / CIO to identify investment / trading opportunities
• Ad hoc research projects as directed by Head Research / CIO

Requirements:-

• Min Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Economics / Finance / Banking / Statistics (CFA or CMT will be a plus)
• Min 8 years' relevant FX analyst experience in banking / asset management / research related  industry
• Technical proficiency in FX markets with a good understanding of FX spot, Derivative and Structured products.
• Strong analytical skills and multitasking abilities
• Subject matter expert with strong writing skills with presentation ability
• Ability to speak Chinese dialects will be an advantage.
