- Serve as a business development liaison for Companies' Global High Yield Investments team
- Communicate investment strategies internally and externally with the goal of growing assets under management for Companies' Global High Yield Investments business
- Provide scheduled and ad-hoc updates on all aspects of the Global High Yield market including strategy process, positioning, performance, markets, etc
- Serve as an active participant in meetings with current and prospective clients
- Respond in a timely manner to client and prospect requests
- Attend investment team meetings and develop solid relationships with portfolio managers
- Assist in the coordination of product development initiatives for the Global High Yield business at the company
- Work collaboratively with the Client Portfolio Manager and Investment Specialist team members in the creation of marketing material including fact sheets, pitch books, roadshow materials, etc. for the investment team
- Review and provide ad-hoc strategy specific responses to RFPs and DDQs
- Work with Compliance on approval of all materials
- Review reporting materials for existing clients and respond to client reporting inquiries on a timely basis
Qualifications
- Four year college degree required
- Experience in either an investment management or investment specialist role specifically within Fixed Income and/or High Yield (loans and bonds)
- Strong proficiency with general Fixed Income topics, specifically senior secured loans and high yield bonds
- Experience with a variety of high yield related products (loans, bonds, CLOs, stressed/distressed, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel required, including experience using MS Office software to produce high quality presentations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, facilitation, collaboration and multi-tasking skills
- Willingness to complete FINRA Series 7, 63 & 3 securities licenses
- Completion or progress towards completing the CFA designation is desired
- Some travel will be required
