Investment Analyst

We are an asset management company seeking a competent Investment Analyst to support the investment management team.

Main responsibilities;

• Conducting fundamental analysis on listed companies on the Colombo Stock Exchange and preparing buy/sell research reports for the investment manager.
• Maintaining up to date macro-economic databases and company specific information.
• Monitoring industry developments and market trends in order to provide comprehensive and up to date market views to the investment manager.
• Prepare presentation material for marketing purposes.
• Liaise with the back office with regard to fund operations.

Requirements;

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Finance/Economics or professional qualification such as CFA/CIMA/ACCA
• 3 years work experience as a sell- or buy-side investment analyst
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word/excel/powerpoint)
• Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Good team player and ability to work independently and as an active member of the team
• Ability to think ‘out of the box’, good organizational, presentation and time management skills
