Finance Manager (1 year contract)

Job Introduction: A Finance Manager (1 year contract) role has just been made available at one of the global banks in Singapore. You will be managing a team and will be reporting directly to the Asia Pacific CFO.

Job responsibilities:

• Taxation - Responsible for completing tax returns for the Singapore and Australia entities.
• Management Reporting - Assist in the review of the management reporting deck and participate in adhoc analysis
• Head Office Reporting - Responsible for completing all the Head Office reporting for the Singapore and Australia entities.
• Regulatory/Financial reporting for the Singapore and Australia entities.
• Other reporting - responsible for the review of weekly tax monitoring reports, posting of tax entries to the general ledger, manage the annual FSI submission
• Process, participate in the refresh of tax surveys among others.

Candidate qualifications:

• Hold a University degree in accounting/finance. CPA/ACCA/CFA preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong Excel skills required to build new reports, processes.
• People management skills preferred
• Knowledge of capital markets / wholesale business and products
• Singaporeans / PRs only due to nature of the business
• Immediately available candidates preferred
