Head of Corporate Credit (Large Corporates/ Trade Finance)

Client:

Our client is a reputable bank in the region with a focus on Digitalization & Innovation in the Corporate Banking and Trade Finance space.

Key responsibilities:

• Active role in structuring the credit risk of new transactions in collaboration with originators and relationship management teams
• Further development of the credit approval process and trade finance capabilities in close collaboration with the front office and treasury
• Involvement in front office initiatives providing tailor-made credit risk solutions to support business decisions
• Promote and ensure a strong credit risk culture within the organization
• Increase efficiency and optimize processes and procedures
• Presentation of results and initiatives to senior management

Key requirements:

• University degree with background in Finance/Business/Banking. One of the following would be an additional asset: FRM, CFA or additional education in Credit
• Min. of 5 years of experience as credit risk structurer or credit manager in banking sector
• Experience in credit risk mitigation (through bank guarantees, PCGs, insurances, Credit Default Swaps, Clearing, bilateral margining)
• Good knowledge in corporate credit analysis as well as trade finance ideal
• Excellent analytical skills, strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods for credit measurement and managements
• Ability to absorb new concepts quickly and solve problems efficiently
• Experience of working in a digital environment would be advantageous
