We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Investment Counsellor.

Principal responsibilities
  • ​ Responsible for supporting Relationship Managers in the positioning and delivery of investment solutions to clients and prospects of Global Private Bank
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to conduct portfolio review and provide periodical investment idea follow up within client portfolio context, direct client engagement and day to day investment advisory is required only when Relationship Manager needs support
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy

Requirements
  • ​ Prior experience in investment counselling in Private Banking
  • Strong and wide financial products expertise
  • Entrepreneurship spirit, self-starter, independent with good negotiation and leadership skills
  • Prioritisation skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills and multitasking abilities
  • Team player, high achiever, quick to learn, detail oriented, positive attitude
  • CFA qualified or working towards CFA qualification or equivalent
