Our client is a small size foreign bank. Currently, they are looking for an experienced candidate for their settlement team, mainly responsible for cash payment and FX/MM settlement, includes daily BAU and related reg-reporting.

- Perform processing and trade settlements
- Monitor and perform confirmation matching
- Perform reconciliation of trades between usually but not limited to front and back-office systems
- Perform daily and monthly checks on transaction reports where applicable.
- Good knowledge and understanding of local specific regulations and policy, ensure operations and reporting process in line with the required standard
- Understanding, Transformation and input of the content of the technicalities from the written loan agreement to the respective booking-system
- Input and Verification of all business events (payments, notifications, corrections)
- Reconciliation and review of business cases
- Other tasks assigned by the team lead
Requirements:
- University degree or similar in Banking, Finance or Business etc.
- Certification in local market practice/rules & regulations or other relevant certification (CPA, CFA, etc.)
- Language: Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Typically 3 years of experience in traded product settlement or in a comparable service function in a financial institution (e.g. settlements, loan administrations, middle office etc.).
- University degree or similar in Banking, Finance or Business etc.
- Over 5 year working experience in FX/MM settlement or banking back office.
- Certification in local market practice/rules & regulations or other relevant certification (CPA, CFA, etc.)
- Language: Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Strong product knowledge in wide range of financial instruments especially in area of bookings and settlements (such as fixed income instruments, financial derivative products, FX and MM products, structured products)
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to apply up-to-date knowledge and best practices to develop value-added solutions
- Good understanding of relevant regulatory rules and internal controls to ensure compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
